Campsite rules & general info (the boring bits)

  1. Check-in times are between 12:00pm and 7:00pm
  2. Poor behaviour will result in being evicted from site no refunds will be given We reserve the right to terminate the visit of any person or groups at any time during the stay whose behaviour is unacceptable
  3. Please report any accidents or incidents immediately to us on: 07376 535 822
  4. Please drive in a low gear whilst driving on site, max speed 5mph, in wet conditions please drive in a manner to prevent wheel spinning, driving in a dangerous manner will lead to eviction from site. If returning to site between 10.00 pm and 8.00am vehicles will need to be left in carpark
  5. No arrivals pre 12pm please. This allows for the pitch to be vacated and please vacate pitch before 11.00am on day of departure (especially important in high season). No pitching of tents or caravans after 10.00pm or before 8.00am. Please ensure you camp between markers of pitch
  6. Showers are token operated, one free token per person per day provided on arrival (extra tokens can be vended on site £1 for 2 shower tokens)
  7. No commercial vehicles without prior notification (these may need to be stored in Carpark)
  8. This is a quiet campsite, please respect fellow campers and our neighbours no loud music and please keep all noise to a low level between 10.00pm and 8.00am. Anyone found damaging or defacing facilities or property will be evicted from site and prosecuted
  9. As we are in an area of outstanding natural beauty, we ask you to not fly flags please
  10. We welcome well behaved dogs, we have free range chickens wandering the field so please keep dogs on leads at all times. Please clean up after your dogs and dispose of in general waste
  11. This is a farm campsite please be aware that we have some uneven ground and our resident rabbits can be very ambitious with their digging so please be careful underfoot
  12. Dry Recycling bin is provided please use this in the manner it is intended
  13. We allow disposable BBQ's but these must be raised up on bricks supplied, scorching of grass is not permitted. Please ensure these are fully extinguished. Please extinguish with water from the fire bucket. Please do not tip chimineas or bbqs in to water drums. We have a BBQ disposal point near the bins in the car park
  14. No fireworks or Chinese lanterns allowed
  15. The flying of drones is prohibited on site
  16. We regret that private generators of any kind are not permitted on site
  17. Please note that only firewood purchased on site is permitted to be burnt in fire pit or chimineas. Everything you need for a camp fire can be purchased from us. We reserve the right to ban the use of fire pits etc if the ground is extremely dry, or other inclement weather prevails. No Foraging for wood. Fires other than the communal fire pit or our chimineas not permitted. Scorch marks or fires that damage the grass are not permitted under any circumstances
  18. We will not be held responsible for any personal injury sustained whilst you are camping or using our fire pit or chimineas
  19. Our site has been designed using steep banks and bunds to make it more sheltered and private, these are not to be climbed on by children or adults!!
  20. Children are welcomed to our site but they must be supervised, there are large open spaces that can used for ball games etc. Please ensure you know where your children are at all times
  21. Please ensure to bring a torch with you as we try to keep lighting to a minimum to preserve the 'dark sky'
  22. There are a number of facilities for your convenience that are shared, for example fridges, freezer, USB charging points, drying room for wet walking/cycling equipment, microwave etc. Please note your more than welcome to use these facilities, but these are all used at your own risk and completely reliant on trust. We will not be held responsible for items left in the fridge, freezer or left charging at the USB point!!
  23. Breathable ground sheets are required for tents and awnings, units may be required to be shifted on longer stays to save excessive pitch damage
  24. All vehicles and camping equipment on site are there at your own risk and we won't be held responsible for any damage to any property on site
